Terms of Service
The Short Version
What this is: The agreement between you and BRAWLER AI for using our app and website.
Subscriptions: Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, with a 1-month free trial for eligible new subscribers. You can cancel anytime in your App Store account settings, in your Google Play subscriptions, or in Settings > Billing for web subscriptions.
Not medical advice: BRAWLER AI is a training journal and AI coaching tool, not a medical or professional service.
Your content stays yours. You grant us a limited license to operate the service. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the BRAWLER AI application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by BRAWLER AI, operated by Stump & Forge, LLC, a limited liability company based in California, United States ("we," "our," or "us"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. The Service
BRAWLER AI is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training journal that uses artificial intelligence to help you log training, track techniques and sparring, and receive personalized coaching insights. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
The Service includes AI-generated content. AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete, and you should use your own judgment before relying on it.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your credentials secure.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Subscriptions, Billing, and Renewals
BRAWLER AI offers an optional paid subscription ("Pro"). Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis through the platform you purchased on (the Apple App Store, Google Play, or our web checkout provider). Pro features described as unlimited are subject to reasonable-use and rate limits that protect the Service for everyone.
4.1 Auto-Renewable Subscriptions
- Your subscription automatically renews for the same term unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price and billing interval shown at the time of purchase.
- The subscription title, length, and price are presented to you at the point of purchase and within the app before you subscribe.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renewal, in your App Store account settings, in your Google Play subscriptions, or, for web subscriptions, under Manage subscription in Settings > Billing.
- Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
4.2 Apple App Store Purchases
Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store are processed by Apple and are also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). Where Apple's terms apply to an App Store purchase and conflict with these Terms, Apple's terms govern that purchase. Apple is not responsible for the Service.
4.3 Refunds
Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, and refund requests for Google Play purchases are handled by Google, in accordance with their policies.
4.4 Google Play Purchases
Subscriptions purchased through Google Play are processed by Google and are also subject to Google Play's terms. Where Google's terms apply to a Google Play purchase and conflict with these Terms, Google's terms govern that purchase. You can manage or cancel a Google Play subscription in the Google Play Store under Subscriptions. Google is not responsible for the Service.
4.5 Free Trial
- Eligible new subscribers can start a free trial of Pro. The trial lasts 1 month on the web, in the App Store, and on Google Play. Each customer is eligible for one free trial, and the App Store and Google Play also limit introductory offers to one per eligible subscriber.
- The free trial includes up to 10 Brawler Briefs and 60 coaching answers. Paid Pro has no Brief or coaching limit. These limits apply to free trials that start on or after October 6, 2026; trials that began earlier are not limited.
- Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the trial converts to a paid subscription at the price shown when you signed up, and the subscription renews automatically until you cancel. On the web, if you cancel any time before the trial ends, you will not be charged. For the App Store and Google Play, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
- To cancel: for a web subscription, go to Settings > Billing and choose Manage subscription; for the App Store, use your Apple Account subscription settings; for Google Play, use the Google Play Store under Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a trial or a subscription.
- Trials started with an invite code run for the length stated with the invite.
5. Not Medical or Professional Advice
BRAWLER AI is a training and journaling tool. It does not provide medical, health, legal, or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified professional or a certified BJJ instructor.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a physical contact activity that carries inherent risk of injury. You are responsible for training safely and within your limits. Consult a healthcare provider before beginning or changing any training program.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- Attempt to access, probe, or disrupt the Service, its infrastructure, or other users' data.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or build a competing product from the Service except as permitted by law.
- Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful, or that you do not have the right to share.
- Misuse AI features to generate harmful, deceptive, or abusive content.
6.1 Shared Content and Community Standards
BRAWLER lets you share journal content directly with training partners you have connected with. There is no public feed, and no way for strangers to find your content or contact you.
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or for abusive users. When you share something, you are responsible for what you send.
You can report content or a person from your shared library or from any share offered to you, and you can block that person at the same time. Blocking takes effect immediately: it stops content moving between you in both directions and cancels anything still pending.
We review every report promptly. Where a report is upheld we remove the offending content and may suspend or terminate the account responsible. We will tell you the outcome of any report you file.
7. Your Content
You retain ownership of the content you create in the Service, including journal entries, recordings, and transcripts ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you, including generating AI insights from it.
We do not sell Your Content, and we do not use it to train third-party AI models. Our handling of Your Content is described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or branding without our prior written consent.
9. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party providers (for example, hosting, payment processing, and AI model providers). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BRAWLER AI will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. You can delete your account at any time; certain provisions (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) survive termination.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except where applicable consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
